Breach of Contract Notice

A Breach of Contract Notice is a letter used to notify a party to a contract (the "breaching party") that they have breached a provision or term or condition of the contract. It is usually sent by the party that did not breach the contract (the "injured party"). A "breach" means that a party did not fully perform their obligations under the contract

The injured party may want to inform the breaching party of the breach of contract in order to give the breaching party a chance to remedy or correct the situation. Sometimes, a Breach of Contract Notice may be used only as a courtesy to inform the other party of the breach and the possibility of pursuing legal action.
